With each new franchisee we add, we aim to strengthen a family-focused culture that not only attracts customers but strengthens the bond between the members of the Mr Gatti’s team. We feel especially positive about the family bond we’ve established because a significant number of our franchisees originally started their journey with Mr Gatti’s Pizza working in the kitchen, serving customers, and managing operations. Many of them have owned their stores for generations, and we’re now seeing second- and third-generation franchisees become operators themselves. Since many of them grew up together in and around Mr Gatti’s Pizza, they care deeply about our brand and about each other and truly believe it is the best pizza franchise to own.
A unique fact about Mr Gatti’s is that 21 of our franchisees started with us before 1999. In fact, with 77 locations operating across the country, 25% of the franchises awarded since 2020 went to existing franchisees with an eye on growth. Our longest-tenured franchisee has been with Mr Gatti’s Pizza since 1980, and the average length of time our franchisees have been with us is approximately 20 years — serving as further proof that Mr Gatti’s is the best pizza franchise to buy on the market! We think this speaks to the family-style culture we’ve cultivated at Mr Gatti’s Pizza along with the strength of the brand and our operating system.
